The 3D genomics 1-day workshop is scheduled for 21st November, 9:00 – 16.00. It will be held at Kommunehospitalet, building 2. Juan Antonio Rodríguez Pérez is the course responsible and have now confirmed 1 invited speaker and 2 teachers.

There are still 5 spots available for the course. Juan will close the registration next Monday, so that he can prepare on time.

9.00 – 10.00    Introductory lecture to 3D genomics/Hi-C (Juan Antonio Rodríguez, Globe Institute)

10.00 – 11.00 Hands on exercises I: First steps with Hi-C data. Data processing with TADbit. (Juan Antonio Rodriguez, Globe Institute)

11.00 – 11.15 Break

11.15 – 12.00 Invited Lecture I: Title TBC (Assoc. Prof. Nils Krietenstein, from NNF CPR)

12.00 – 12:45 Lunch

12.45 – 13.30 Hands on exercises II. Working with matrices: basic features extraction (Juan Antonio Rodriguez, Globe Institute)

13:30 – 15.30 Hands on exercises III Manual curation of assemblies + Genome scaffolding using HiC (Sergei Kliver, Globe Institute)

15.30 – 16.00 Ancient fossil 3D chromosomes from a 52,000-year-old woolly mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius) from Siberia. (Juan Antonio Rodriguez, Globe Institute)

Registered participants will receive a confirmation email next week. Lectures will be streamed on Zoom, but NOT the practical sessions. Hands-on material will be made freely available upon request.
