Hologenomics Theme Release Celebrations
In the spring 2023 Center for Evolutionary Hologenomics has coordinated a theme issue about hologenomics in the Danish magazine Kaskelot.
The magazine consists of 5 articles written in Danish by internal and external researchers spanning the field of hologenomics as well as a thought experiment and an assignment for elementary school pupils about the microbes in their everyday life.
The Danish theme issues includes:
- What is hologenomics? A general introduction to the field and its key terms
- The important interplay between the human and its microbes
- Personalised medicine - organoids
- Insects and bacteria live together in symbiosis
- Why hologenomics can revolutionise the food production industry
- An assignment: You are never alone - you become what you touch
- More inspiration on hologenomics
The publication date is in week 19 and therefore we will host a small celebration to celebrate the authors articles, as well as the great team work with the editor and illustrator of Kaskelot.
Cake and beverages will be served. The celebrations will happen May 17 at 14, Kommunehospitalet Building 7, 2. floor lunch room.
