Phage therapy talk by Prof. Martha Clokie

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Martha Clokie will be visiting Center for Evolutionary Hologenomics next Friday (21th April at 11am) and will give a talk titled "Ecological and evolutionary approaches to accelerate phage therapy development"

Prof. Martha Clokie is a world-renowned leader in the fight against antibiotic resistant bacterial infections and has pioneered bacteriophage research.  As the founding Director of the UK's first phage therapy center the "Centre for Phage Research" at the University of Leicester, she utilises ecological, genomic, structural and AI approaches to identify key traits associated with phage efficacy in clearing infections.

The talk is open for everyone.
