Cancelled: Official Opening of Center for Evolutionary Hologenomics
Unfortunately the official opening of Center for Evolutionary Hologenomics on November 13, 2020 at 15-16 has been cancelled due to the new COVID restrictions.
The Center for Evolutionary Hologenomics invites you to celebrate the official Center Opening at the Lundsgaard auditorium at the Panum Institute on November 13 at 15-16.
The Danish National Research Foundation has funded the establishment of this new Center of Excellence at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen. The Center for Evolutionary Hologenomics studies how interaction between genes and microbes determine biological evolution and is part of the GLOBE institute.
The programme will consist of short introductory talks by the Rector of the University of Copenhagen, Prof Henrik Wegener, and the Dean of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Prof Ulla Wewer, the CEO of DNRF Prof Søren-Peter Olesen as well as the Center Director Prof Tom Gilbert, and Center co-PI Prof Rob Dunn (North Carolina State University).
